Periodically, I will post a new restaurant from the Savannah area that I think is a good choice. When looking for a home in Savannah, Ga. you might become hungry and thirsty. I will post links and short descriptions to restaurants you can visit to enjoy a great meal. The first pick is Toucan Cafe. This restaurant is one of Savannah's best, in my opinion. The atmosphere is uplifting, with bright colors, good lighting, and, of course, toucans everywhere! The food is great with very creative preparations. It has mostly a Caribbean touch.

For an unusual and very enjoyable meal, you can't beat George's at Tybee. Great atmosphere and great food. It is a touch of the city at the beach.

You have probably heard of this one. One of the most famous restaurants in Savannah, it was made famous by the wildly popular Paula Deen, who has a TV cook show and has authored several books. I used to eat at Lady and Sons before it became so popular. Great southern food! Now, I have to stand in line, and I am sooooo impatient. But if you have the patience, it is worth the experience.

If you like Italian, you'll love Il Pasticcio. One of the best restaurants in Savannah, this elegant restaurant is definitely one you want experience during your stay in Savannah.

Another great Italian restuarant is Bella's. In the midtown/Ardsley Park area this restaurant has great service and great food. Try their pizza -- it is awesome.
