Savannah New Homes -- In The Market?

Now may be an excellent time to buy a new home in Savannah. Why? Interest rates are low and the prices are moderating. Will they go lower? I doubt it. Will they be higher in a year or two? Most likely.

Timing is critical when trying to get the best price. Many buyers think that if they wait, now, they might get a better deal. Some buyers are afraid if they buy, prices might fall.

I personally think we will see a leveling of prices for a period, then an upward rise. If buyers wait until prices begin to rise, they risk paying more.

With interest rates being as low as they are, and with new home construction prices stabilizing, now is a good time to buy. Who knows when the next big price rise will happen, but I don’t think it will be long.

I believe there is backed-up demand right now. I base this on my prospects who tell me they are waiting a few months to buy. They want to make sure, then, they will act. I understand this, but I also understand that waiting too long means missing an opportunity to buy on the low side.
